Product package
The Tn2007 software, compiled html Help system, example flights and other files are delivered by Internet download or shipped on product CDs.   The CD install is a standard Windows (autorun) setup.exe.    Licence keys are by Activation code. 

The 3D Viewer is an optional free 'plug-in' by Dr Hannes Krueger (University Innsbruck), available with Tn2007 on CD or by separate net download.

Internet Download - ACTIVATION code procedure:  

  1. Download the appropriate file from the downloads page

  2. Install and run Tn2007 to get the Registration key number xxx-yyy-zzz

  3. Send the key number to:    requesting Activation,  and please confirm that you will send us a cheque for the licence fee

  4. By return, we will send you the Activation code(s) aaa-bbb-ccc.    That's it.

CD Delivery + p&p - normally by 1st class surface or air-mail postal services (£6.00 for twin CDs including  post and pack).   Special Delivery, courier or recorded services are POA.

Routine (non-priority) technical support is provided on an "as available" basis, via e-mail.  Software updates and other files are available from the downloads page of the TaskNAV web site.   See details below.

Tn2007
- Competition Order Quantity

Gliding Clubs and National Federations who plan to use Tn2007 for National,  Continental (e.g. European) or World Gliding Championships, must order a multi-licence pack as described in the table above.
        - National Gliding Championships    -    3+1 licence 'club' pack 
        - Continental or World Championships    -    5 licence 'championships' pack 
The purpose of a multi-licence pack is to ensure that competition organisers have sufficient copies to provide ...
(a) ... before the competition, adequate training and full functional testing opportunities, and  ...
(b) ... during the competition, operational flexibility for the Tn2007 analysts, and full backup in the event of "disaster recovery" from major hardware failure(s), fire, theft or virus attack.

 



Value Added Services

  • 'Competition Use'  technical support services
    1. Ad hoc advice is always available, free of charge, subject to the availability of support staff
    2. The standard software price includes routine (non-priority) technical support, free for 90 days from the licence purchase date.   Priority technical support via the telephone and/or e-mail - for a particular competition - is usually a chargeable service, available by prior agreement to purchasers of competition multi-licence packs, ie 'Club' 3+1 pack or 'Championships' 5 pack, as described in the price list above
    3. Routine Service Level (free) support targets:
      • Response to customer e-mail within 3 days
      • Problem identification and fix or problem circumvention within 10 days of receipt of evidence - usually, the failing IGC files and/or screen captures..
      • Response time targets are subject to the availability of support staff
    4. Priority Service Level (competition) support targets:
      • Reservations and prior agreement essential
      • 24 hour, same day or next day service
      • Guaranteed support staff availability
      • Out-of-hours working and full competition coverage possible
      • One time "insurance premium" or hourly rates (if applicable) are negotiable - POA
    5. On-site support possible subject to mutual agreement re travel and related expenses
  • Special programming services
    A 'build to order' program modifications service is available for competition or other rules conformance.   Quotations available by daily or weekly rate, or by fixed price against an agreed specification.   In certain circumstances, modifications may be carried out at no charge.   All enquiries welcome.

  • National language services
    Please note:  though generally free of charge, at their discretion, TaskNAV  distributors and agents  may add price increments for national language or other locale services eg:
    • Translation of documents and web technical support material
    • National language technical support services
    • National language Windows version services
    • Registration codes and licence disk replacements, etc
